Every spring, I plant a flat of zinnias amidst the perennials. This year I changed it up and planted them in the kitchen garden, nestled between the currants, raspberries, and yellow squash. Nourished by full sun and rich composted soil, these zinnias are the healthiest, tallest (some reaching over 5 feet!), and most prolific zinnias I’ve ever grown! Next year, I’m definitely doing this again!
