This may look like one of those 5,000 piece mind-boggling puzzles, but it isn’t. It’s just a sampling of all we have discovered around the property of this old 1767 Connecticut Country House. This past weekend was no exception, with porcelain shards sprinkled at the base of a 100+ year old Maple tree in the back yard, they mixed right in with the rest. Have a look and see what you can find!

Happy hunting!

Love, Nora

We bit – my husband and I pondered your collection he saw the metal piece and said that is an old file he first thought it was a pile of oyster shells. Looks like there may be a few shells too.

Hi Victoria! The rusted metal piece is an iron strap hinge! Did you see the old razor? There’s just so many little stories in there….Thanks Victoria! Love, Nora

That treasure would look perfect packed into a shadow box table!
