One of my most cherished collections, these vintage fish plates are pure joy to build a table setting around. Each one, hand-painted and unique, depicts in beautiful detail, assorted fish, coral, seaweed and nautical-scapes. Antique gold deckled edges add a bit of sparkle, and their not quite round shape is fun to layer with larger, not quite square plates. The addition of a row of fresh tulips, hyacinths, and waxflowers in blush tones, echoes the soft watercolor-like palette.

Unlike fish out of water, these plates look perfectly at home whether setting a table for a brunch for ten, or an intimate dinner for four.

Happy decorating!

Love, Nora
